About Us

Greensleeves Gardens was started by Angie Smith.  I am a wife, mother of two young children, and a substitute teacher.  I have always enjoyed the garden in all its various stages.  When March rolls around, I find myself examining the soil each day for signs of bulbs and new perennial growth.  As spring approaches there is always something new and interesting going on in the garden, and it continues throughout the year.  I saw a need in the area for a company which focuses on the needs of the everyday gardener.  My hope is to use my love of gardening to encourage you in your garden efforts.  I have worked for several garden centers in the past and have extensive knowledge of annuals, perennials, and shrubs.  I have also taken courses at Longwood Gardens.
